The tax and legal work,
settled before you launch.
Payments fail on paperwork more often than on technology. An entity in the wrong place. Terms that contradict the refund policy. A tax registration nobody owned. We answer those questions first, then the processing goes live clean.

Six questions every merchant hits.
These are the areas we cover. Not a legal library. Just the points that decide whether an application clears and a business trades safely.
-
Entity and tax residence
Where you register shapes your tax bill and your approval odds. We work through the options with you first.
- Structure for the markets you sell in
- Owner and director questions
-
VAT and sales tax
Cross-border selling brings tax rules in every market. We map which ones touch your goods.
- Registration thresholds
- Digital goods and services
-
Merchant terms and policies
Card schemes read your site. Refund, delivery and billing terms all get checked during review.
- Refund and delivery wording
- Subscription billing terms
-
Payments compliance
Card data rules are not optional. We show what applies to your setup and what your gateway already covers.
- PCI DSS scope
- Strong customer checks
-
Data and privacy
You hold customer data the moment you take an order. The rules follow the data, not the office.
- Privacy notice review
- Processor agreements
-
Underwriting paperwork
Most delays are document delays. We name the files an underwriter needs before the file opens.
- Ownership and ID pack
- Trading and bank history
How the advisory runs.
The work sits next to your payment setup, not apart from it. That is the point of a one-stop shop. The person who knows your file also knows what the underwriter will ask.

We read the business
Tell us what you sell and where. We look at the model, the markets and the money flow.
-
We flag what matters
You get a short list of the tax and legal points that actually apply. No generic checklist.
-
We line up the work
Entity, registrations, terms and policies get an order. The launch stops waiting on the unowned piece.
-
We keep it current
New market, new method, new rule. Your account manager brings the change to you first.
What triggers a review.
Growth changes your legal footprint. Five common moves, and what we check when you make them.
| What changes | What we look at |
|---|---|
| Selling into a new country | VAT or sales tax registration, local consumer rules |
| Adding a subscription plan | Billing terms, renewal notice, refund wording |
| Opening a second entity | Tax residence, group structure, account setup |
| Moving into a complex vertical | Licensing questions, scheme rules, policy pages |
| Taking a new payment method | Scheme terms, settlement and refund handling |
Already trading in several markets? Start with the full service ladder and tell us which piece is missing.
Questions merchants ask us.
Is this advice or is it done for me?
Both, depending on the piece. We answer the question, then run the filing or drafting work we handle in house. Anything that needs a local specialist gets flagged, not fudged.
Do I need this if I already have an accountant?
Often not for the books. Card payments add rules an accountant rarely touches. We cover that layer and leave the rest alone.
Can you help after we are already trading?
Yes. Most merchants come to us mid-flight. A new market or a new plan is the usual reason.
Does the advisory work slow down my application?
It usually does the opposite. Clean paperwork and clear terms are what underwriters ask for first.
Get the legal groundwork done once.
Tell us what you sell and where. We will name the tax and legal points that apply, then line them up with your account.
